In addition to the distribution of chia seeds, we would like to bring your attention to some of our exciting upcoming projects that prioritize both the environment and human health. We kindly request that you review the details of these projects listed below.

Pineapple Wine production

Sage Uganda’s Pineapple Wine project aims to produce high-quality wine from locally grown pineapples. Through this project, we seek to support local farmers by creating a sustainable market for their produce while also offering consumers a unique and delicious beverage option. Our team of experts will carefully select the best pineapples and utilize modern winemaking techniques to create a product that meets the highest standards of quality and taste. By promoting sustainable agriculture practices and entrepreneurship, we hope to empower local communities and contribute to the economic growth of Uganda.

Bee Keeping and Honey production

Sage Uganda’s beekeeping and honey production project aims to promote sustainable agriculture and income generation among rural communities in Uganda. The project focuses on providing training and support to local farmers to establish and manage bee colonies, as well as to process and market high-quality honey.
Through this project, Sage Uganda seeks to increase local production and consumption of honey, improve livelihoods, and contribute to biodiversity conservation by promoting the role of bees in pollination. The project also aims to create a sustainable honey value chain by supporting the establishment of cooperatives and linking farmers to local and international markets.

Overall, the beekeeping and honey production project aims to empower rural communities to increase their incomes and improve their livelihoods through sustainable agriculture practices.

Chia Cake Production

Sage Uganda’s chia cake production project aims to provide a nutritious and sustainable feed source for broilers and pigs through the use of chia seeds. Chia seeds are a rich source of protein, fiber, and essential fatty acids, making them an ideal ingredient for animal feed.

Through careful processing and production techniques, Sage Uganda will create chia cakes that are easy to handle, store, and transport. These cakes will be formulated to provide a balanced diet for broilers and pigs, promoting optimal growth and health.

By incorporating chia cakes into their feed regimen, farmers can reduce their reliance on traditional feed sources, such as soybeans and corn, which can be expensive and have negative environmental impacts. Additionally, the use of chia seeds in animal feed supports the local agriculture industry by creating a new market for a crop that can be grown in Uganda.

Sage Uganda’s chia cake production project is committed to promoting sustainable agriculture practices while providing farmers with an affordable and nutritious feed source for their animals.

Chia Butter Production

Sage Uganda’s Chia Butter Production Project is an innovative initiative aimed at creating a sustainable source of income while providing a nutritious and healthy product to consumers. The project involves the production of chia butter from chia seeds, which are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and protein.

Our chia butter is made using locally sourced, organic chia seeds, which are processed in our state-of-the-art production facility to create a creamy and delicious spread that can be used in a variety of ways. We pride ourselves on using sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in all aspects of our production process, from sourcing to packaging.

The Chia Butter Production Project is not only a profitable venture but also contributes to the promotion of healthy lifestyles and sustainable agriculture practices. Through this project, we are committed to supporting local farmers by sourcing our chia seeds from them, creating employment opportunities, and contributing to the growth of the Ugandan economy.
